Behind the name
The “& Co” not just came from growing the business, but actually stems from a lifelong dream: having seen this name on the sign of the front door of her childhood home, for Heleen it is now a full-circle to actually own a business carrying forth this name.
The “Studio” addition completes the name being the overall umbrella of all of our photography services.
Our story
Our origin
The origin of our business lies in the streets of Cape Town. Here, Heleen started photographing local kids, capturing their pure and strong emotions that were written all over their faces. She then had the photos printed and gave them back to their families. Now, the business has grown out to the extent in which we can come full-circle and create true works of art, many of them featuring beautiful children from this very same city. That is the true beauty that forms the core of our business.
