Our process
Consultation
We love starting off our collaboration with you by getting to know you. This can be done by email or phone. What are your wishes, what is your taste, who are you as a person? Whether it is a portrait or a business shoot, at Studio Van de Ven & Co it is all about who you are and capturing that in the best way. That starts at the consultation.
When our visions are aligned, you either book your photo shoot or we send you a tailor-made quote.
Our process
Preparation
Before your photo shoot, you receive a custom information folder from us with guidelines to prepare you for your photo shoot. What to wear? Where to be? In this folder we try to answer all the questions you have. If you have more, you can ask us about them prior to the shoot.

The shoot
Most shoots take place in our studio. We take our time, getting to know you face to face and make you feel comfortable. Good photography is a process and takes time. And that is what we do. We try different outfits and possibly hairstyles. We use different backdrops and light arrangements to create the shots that we discussed earlier.
Our process
After the shoot
In corporate photography, we show you the shots we’ve taken directly after the shoot. This way, you can make a selection yourself and decide which and how many photos you want. After the editing, you receive an invoice and a link to a personal portfolio page from which you can download your files (large and websize) after payment.
In portrait and casting shoots, we make a wide selection ourselves and edit these photos by hand. Afterwards, you receive a link to a personal portfolio page where you can view and select your photos. After paying the invoice, you can download the photos from this page as well.
In portrait shoots, we go one step further: after your selection, your photos are uploaded to a personal gallery space where you can select the wall art piece(s) you desire. The material, size and selection are up to you. You can use the gallery credit that is included in your package when you order. Within 2 weeks you receive your chosen wall art at home.
When you choose the Artwork package, the process is quite similar to that of a portrait shoot, depending if you choose to include wall art credit in your custom package.
